  • 200 grams of freekeh.
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste.

  • Black pepper.
  • Dry mint.
  • A litter of hot water.

How to make Freek soup?

  • Heat the cooking oil in a large pot until it becomes hot.
  • Add the diced meat, onions, and garlic to the pot and fry them thoroughly.
  • Once the meat is well-fried, add the coriander, spices, and tomato paste to the pot.
  • Mix everything thoroughly.
  • Include the chopped tomatoes and let the mixture simmer for five minutes.
  • Carefully pour hot water into the pot.
  • Allow the pot to simmer on low heat for ten minutes, then add the freekeh on top.
  • Let it cook for an additional 15 minutes until the soup is ready to serve.
